Michael Jackson “Immortal” Album Released on November

Yahoo! Finally, the moment I’ve been waiting for has arrived!! Yes, I’m talking about the new album of the King op Pop; Michael Jackson has been released on 21 November and I’m super excited to get a copy of it. There are two version of it, the deluxe version (with 22 tracks) and the normal one (with 15 tracks). It is the “anticipated musical tapestry” for ‘Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour‘ (click that link for further information). Even though I haven’t got the CD yet, but I do strongly recommend if you are a fan like me. I checked out most of the new version of the songs and they are beyond awesomeness.

“Led by esteemed musical designer, Kevin Antunes (Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Madonna) IMMORTAL takes a fresh, creative approach in redesigning and reimagining more than 40 of Michael Jackson’s greatest original recordings into a compilation that allows listeners to experience his music in an entirely new way. After spending a year in the studio working with Michael’s original multi-track master recordings, Kevin created IMMORTAL which offers listeners a new soundscape to Michael’s artistry while preserving the power and familiarity of his unparalleled voice and his legendary tracks.

Kevin Antunes comments, “Michael’s legacy as the greatest entertainer of our lifetime is inspiring beyond words. It was clear from the start that Michael’s voice and overall musical essence was the sole/soul source of creative energy driving the project. From the studio to the stage, there’s an undeniable integrity and resolute truth in Michael’s vocal performances that are highlighted in the Immortal arrangements. It was built with love and respect for Michael’s music, his family, and his millions of fans around the world.” – quoted from michaeljackson.com

“Lulu” a Final Fantasy X Character drew by me

It’s been quite a long time since I last posted about my drawings. This time I pick Lulu as my favorite character from the game (FFX). I always find her very attractive, beautiful and yet mysterious. I finally found a time to draw her and I actually spent about 4-5 hours on the whole process (including drawing, scanning and editing a little bit in Photoshop to adjust the light). Overall, I am satisfied with the outcome and I hope you enjoy this piece too :)

Happy Feet Two

It’s been so long since I last saw Happy Feet one, long enough that I almost forget about this movie (it was actually one of my favorite animated movies of all time). When I first saw the trailer, I was completely blown away by the high quality of graphics. I’ve always been a huge fan of animations and this movie looks good so far. I am definitely going to see this movie when it will be in the theater (17, November 2011 in Thailand) after a long time of not being able to go to one recently :( . But anyways, I’m really excited for this movie to come out and if possible I’m going to write about this movie in the very near future. Hope you all go for this movie too :)

” I’m Alive ” a movie mash up video

I love animated movies especially when they are from Pixar company. I had to do a quick mash up video which lasts only around 1 minute and a half for a project. I had fun doing this video but I got through lots of troubles with the program I was using (which is Movie Maker) because it would hang up in the middle of the process and I had to shut it down and restart the program again. Luckily, I saved my work very often. Anyways, this is the final editing, I don’t want to say that I am totally satisfied with it due to the problems I had during the making. However, I appreciate it and I hope you enjoy it too. :)

Michelle Phan

If you are a youtube dweller, then Michelle Phan should sound familiar. MIchelle Phan is a make-up guru artist who is one of the most famous youtubers recently. I remembered back in a days where I first watched her make-up tutorials and I thought that most of her videos were very easy to follow. Most of the time when I am bored, I just go to youtube and start watching her videos and every time I do this, I’m so inspired by her tutorials. She does not only do a typical style of make-up but several styles which sometimes are totally different from each other. My favorite tutorials of hers have to be the halloween tutorials and the sexy vampire look is on top of my list. And this is the look

My Photographs Portfolio

Taking photograph had never been in my favorite thing to do. But since I was introduced to famous photographers by an Art teacher, I got a chance to see their works which later on, inspired me a lot. So these photos below were for works in class and they are currently exhibited in my university campus.

“Wanna Be Starting Something” Remade with ‘Fruit Loop’

I happened to find my new favorite program to play with and it is called ‘Fruit Loop’. It’s a program that allow you to create your own beat (sound or instrumental). I have been practicing for 3 days, I must admit that it is pretty confusing to use for the first time. However, I managed to rearrange a song called which is “Wanna be starting something” by Micheal Jackson (one of my favorite songs of all time). I spent about an hour on this one and I am quite happy with it because it is my first song that I’ve tried to remake. This only lasts 25 seconds but I hope you enjoy it as I do. And I really recommend you to get this program because it is very fun.

“Visionary Apple co-founder Steve Jobs dies at 56″

“Steve Jobs, the Apple founder and former CEO who invented and masterfully marketed ever-sleeker gadgets that transformed everyday technology, from the personal computer to the iPod and iPhone, has died. He was 56.”

Apple announced his death without giving a specific cause. He had been battling pancreatic cancer.

“We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today,” the company said in a brief statement. “Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.”

Jobs had battled cancer in 2004 and underwent a liver transplant in 2009 after taking a leave of absence for unspecified health problems. He took another leave of absence in January — his third since his health problems began — before resigning as CEO six weeks ago. Jobs became Apple’s chairman and handed the CEO job over to his hand-picked successor, Tim Cook.

‘I thought it was my sister’: Woman loses $2,000 to Facebook scam

Today,  I paid a visit to msn.com for the first time in this year and I came across an interesting article about a woman that had lost $2,000 to Facebook scam. Since everyone has a Facebook account, I thought you should be aware of it. (The article is by Bob Sullivan)

Now, you can’t even trust your sister on Facebook.

Edythe Schumacher logged onto the social networking site recently and a picture of her sister popped up immediately, inviting her into a Facebook chat.  After a bit of small talk, Schumacher’s sister – Susan Palmer – egged her on to apply for a government grant, saying she’d just received one.  For an up-front fee of $2,000, Schumacher was assured, she’d get access to up to $500,000.

Schumacher trusted her sister — and lost $2,000.

Apparently, Facebook impersonation scams have reached a new level of duplicity. Palmer’s account had been hacked, Schumacher says, by an impersonator skilled enough to pretend to be her own flesh and blood.  The fake Palmer eventually talked Schumacher into wiring $2,000 to an address in Massachusetts.

“Turns out I was not chatting at all with my sister,” Schumacher told authorities, according to a report filed with the Ohio state attorney general’s office.  “I would never have sent the money if I didn’t think it was my sister.”

“Man In The Mirror” by Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was without a doubt, the most influenced person and an icon to a lot of artists and people nowadays. Not only he had the most catchy songs, but also songs that inspired people, lift them up and songs that have meanings about life and the world. This is one of those many songs that I’d like to share and somehow to remind you since this is old song. The song gives me inspiration and start to make a change even if it is a small start.

I’m Gonna Make A Change,
For Once In My Life
It’s Gonna Feel Real Good,
Gonna Make A Difference
Gonna Make It Right . . .

As I, Turn Up The Collar On My
Favourite Winter Coat
This Wind Is Blowin’ My Mind
I See The Kids In The Street,
With Not Enough To Eat
Who Am I, To Be Blind?
Pretending Not To See
Their Needs
A Summer’s Disregard,
A Broken Bottle Top
And A One Man’s Soul
They Follow Each Other On
The Wind Ya’ Know
‘Cause They Got Nowhere
To Go
That’s Why I Want You To
Know

I’m Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
I’m Asking Him To Change
His Ways
And No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change)
(Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah)

I’ve Been A Victim Of A Selfish
Kind Of Love
It’s Time That I Realize
That There Are Some With No
Home, Not A Nickel To Loan
Could It Be Really Me,
Pretending That They’re Not
Alone?

A Willow Deeply Scarred,
Somebody’s Broken Heart
And A Washed-Out Dream
(Washed-Out Dream)
They Follow The Pattern Of
The Wind, Ya’ See
Cause They Got No Place
To Be
That’s Why I’m Starting With
Me
(Starting With Me!)

I’m Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
(Ooh!)
I’m Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Ooh!)
And No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change)

I’m Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
(Ooh!)
I’m Asking Him To Change His
Ways
(Change His Ways-Ooh!)
And No Message Could’ve
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make That . . .
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make That . . .)
Change!

I’m Starting With The Man In
The Mirror,
(Man In The Mirror-Oh
Yeah!)
I’m Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Better Change!)
No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make The Change)
(You Gotta Get It Right, While
You Got The Time)
(‘Cause When You Close Your
Heart)
You Can’t Close Your . . .Your
Mind!
(Then You Close Your . . .
Mind!)
That Man, That Man, That
Man, That Man
With That Man In The Mirror
(Man In The Mirror, Oh Yeah!)
That Man, That Man, That Man
I’m Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Better Change!)
You Know . . .That Man
No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make A Change)
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah
(Oh Yeah!)
Gonna Feel Real Good Now!
Yeah Yeah! Yeah Yeah!
Yeah Yeah!
Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah
(Ooooh . . .)
Oh No, No No . . .
I’m Gonna Make A Change
It’s Gonna Feel Real Good!
Come On!
(Change . . .)
Just Lift Yourself
You Know
You’ve Got To Stop It.
Yourself!
(Yeah!-Make That Change!)
I’ve Got To Make That Change,
Today!
Hoo!
(Man In The Mirror)
You Got To
You Got To Not Let Yourself . . .
Brother . . .
Hoo!
(Yeah!-Make That Change!)
You Know-I’ve Got To Get
That Man, That Man . . .
(Man In The Mirror)
You’ve Got To
You’ve Got To Move! Come
On! Come On!
You Got To . . .
Stand Up! Stand Up!
Stand Up!
(Yeah-Make That Change)
Stand Up And Lift
Yourself, Now!
(Man In The Mirror)
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Aaow!
(Yeah-Make That Change)
Gonna Make That Change . . .
Come On!
(Man In The Mirror)
You Know It!
You Know It!
You Know It!
You Know . . .
(Change . . .)
Make That Change.
